Revelation 21

A NEW EARTH

A NEW HEAVEN

 

 

1: & I SAW A NEW HEAVEN & A NEW EARTH: FOR THE FIRST HEAVEN & THE FIRST EARTH WERE PASSED AWAY; & THERE WAS NO MORE SEA 

The seas, already signified, represent people around the world.

The old earth & heaven have gone into nonexistence.  

A NEW EARTH & HEAVEN EARTH NECESSITATE THEIR PLACES.

This process, today & probably before us - repeats itself until the universe is populated - the use of this vast ever expanding universe - more stars than grains of sand upon the Earth.    

Every soul upon the earth, from its commencement, could each begin a new planet throughout the cosmos.

As will be shown, WE CAN BE LIKE CHRIST - who MAY become a God - WHICH WOULD MEAN WE COULD BECOME A GOD IF WE GO THE ROUTE THAT CHRIST DID? Obviously where Smith of the Mormons got his idea of superior males only becoming Gods.

 

2: & I JOHN SAW THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, COMING DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN, PREPARED AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND       

The Holy City is the new Heaven & is the Bride, contrary to the beliefs of many Christian institutions.

 

3: & I HEARD A GREAT VOICE OUT OF HEAVEN SAYING, BEHOLD, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, & HE WILL DWELL WITH THEM, & THEY SHALL BE HIS PEOPLE, & GOD HIMSELF SHALL BE WITH THEM, & BE THEIR GOD. 4: & GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES; & THERE SHALL BE NO MORE DEATH, NEITHER SORROW, NOR CRYING, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN: FOR THE FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY.  

There is no death, just the cycle - continuously.

Rebirth is ended for now.

 

5: & HE THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE SAID, BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW       

Christ makes all things over again, new, but not really different.

 

& HE SAID UNTO ME, WRITE: FOR THESE WORDS ARE TRUE & FAITHFUL.

another indication of history going to be repeated

 

6: & HE SAID UNTO ME, IT IS DONE. I AM ALPHA & OMEGA, THE BEGINNING & THE END. I WILL GIVE UNTO HIM THAT IS ATHIRST OF THE FOUNTAIN OF THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY       

These are the Christly who crave to go Christ's Way, complete with their own star & to suffer Christ's lamentation for the millennia - only these will be endowed this ultimate concession.

 

7: HE THAT OVERCOMETH SHALL INHERIT ALL THINGS; &

 I WILL BE HIS GOD, HE SHALL BE MY SON

Again, Christ is either sacrilegious or declaring truth - He testifies that He shall be as the Father, a Father/God

- any modern computer can go thru the Bible in seconds & discover that there are references to 2 beings a great many times, Father & Son

This is a verse that very easily could have been exploited by Christian doctrines to construct the Father & Son into one.

He asserts that we can be His sons - sons are angels by definition & furthered in verse 17 'the measure of an angel, a man that is.'

contradicts the supposed word of God in Is.43:10 'I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.'

 

8: BUT THE FEARFUL, & UNBELIEVING, & THE ABOMINABLE, & MURDERERS, & WHOREMONGERS, & SORCERERS, & IDOLATERS, & ALL LIARS

few people live without ever lying -  Proverbs 8:13 THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS TO HATE EVIL: PRIDE, & ARROGANCY, AND THE EVIL WAY, AND THE FORWARD MOUTH, DO I HATE  - The forward mouth is the gossiper &/or liars - obsessed with attention & fulfillment, regardless of the consequences.

 

SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE & BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH       

These inhabitants - who ceased to exist for 360,000 years - are in that lake of fire & will see the second death. - remolded, like going from liquid steel to another form with meaning

 

9: & THERE CAME UNTO ME ONE OF THE SEVEN ANGELS WHICH HAD THE SEVEN VIALS FULL OF THE SEVEN LAST PLAGUES, & TALKED WITH ME, SAYING, COME HITHER, I WILL SHEW THEE THE BRIDE, THE LAMB'S WIFE       

The bride, the New Heaven, secures her recognition - not the Christian church.

 

10: & HE CARRIED ME AWAY IN THE SPIRIT TO A GREAT AND HIGH MOUNTAIN, & SHEWED ME THAT GREAT CITY, THE HOLY JERUSALEM, DESCENDING OUT OF HEAVEN FROM GOD, 11: HAVING THE GLORY OF GOD: & HER LIGHT WAS LIKE UNTO A STONE MOST PRECIOUS, EVEN LIKE A JASPER STONE, CLEAR AS CRYSTAL;

12: & HAD A WALL GREAT & HIGH, & HAD TWELVE GATES, & AT THE GATES TWELVE ANGELS, & NAMES WRITTEN THEREON, WHICH ARE THE NAMES OF THE TWELVE TRIBES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL       

Christ's domain, His bride, signified by the number twelve

Again the tribes end the third & final set of sevens chapters.

Here the tribes end the parable on verse twelve, with Christ's number.

 

14: & THE WALL OF THE CITY HAD TWELVE FOUNDATIONS, & IN THEM THE NAMES OF THE TWELVE APOSTLES OF THE LAMB. 15: & HE THAT TALKED WITH ME HAD A GOLDEN REED TO MEASURE THE CITY, & THE GATES THEREOF, & THE WALL THEREOF.

16: & THE CITY LIETH FOURSQUARE, & THE LENGTH IS AS LARGE AS THE BREADTH: & HE MEASURED THE CITY WITH THE REED, TWELVE THOUSAND FURLONGS.

THE LENGTH & THE BREADTH & THE HEIGHT OF IT ARE EQUAL. 17: & HE MEASURED THE WALL THEREOF, AN HUNDRED & FORTY & FOUR CUBITS, ACCORDING TO THE MEASURE OF A MAN, THAT IS, OF THE ANGEL

Christ's number dominates the scene of the bride.

Verse 17, we are reminded that we are to become angels, 'The measure of a man's arm, that is, of the angel!'

This is the new Heaven& it has measurements - what is on the other side of the walls? Are there other heavens?    

This is Christ's kingdom, shown with the 3 times 4, 12,000 furlongs.   

- 12,000 furlongs equals 1500 miles. Its height is 1500 miles - the walls alone are 216 feet thick.

-  What is above it & below it

-  SOMETHING IS OUTSIDE OF THESE WALLS FOR THE WALLS TO EXIST [for there to exist measurement].  

 

22: & I SAW NO TEMPLE THEREIN: FOR THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY & THE LAMB ARE THE TEMPLE OF IT.

23: & THE CITY HAD NO NEED OF THE SUN, NEITHER OF THE MOON, TO SHINE IN IT: FOR THE GLORY OF GOD DID LIGHTEN IT, & THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT THEREOF.

A NEW HEAVEN

24: & THE NATIONS OF THEM WHICH ARE SAVED SHALL WALK IN THE LIGHT OF IT: & THE KINGS OF THE EARTH DO BRING THEIR GLORY & HONOR INTO I 25: & THE GATES OF IT SHALL NOT BE SHUT AT ALL BY DAY: FOR THERE SHALL BE NO NIGHT THERE. 26: & THEY SHALL BRING THE GLORY & HONOR OF THE NATIONS INTO IT. 27: & THERE SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER INTO IT ANY THING THAT DEFILETH, NEITHER WHATSOEVER WORKETH ABOMINATION, OR MAKETH A LIE: BUT THEY WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE.
