Revelation 10

JOHN'S LITTLE BOOK

 

One of the more interesting episodes of the Book of Revelation, in that John is not to write whatever Divinity uttered - & yet told to write that such a milestone took place. WHY?

The significance of this chapter has not been deleted, rather, in a sense, somewhat hidden, & yet not.

This chapter is like one in parenthesis, in that it separates the next woe from the past two

 

1: & I SAW ANOTHER MIGHTY ANGEL COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, CLOTHED WITH A CLOUD: & A RAINBOW WAS UPON HIS HEAD, & HIS FACE WAS AS IS WERE THE SUN, & HIS FEET AS PILLARS OF FIRE:       

This emissary comes with a mighty message

 

2: HE HAD IN HIS HAND A LITTLE BOOK OPEN: & HE SET HIS RIGHT FOOT UPON THE SEA, & HIS LEFT FOOT ON THE EARTH       

The notice, shown by his feet on land & in the sea, is to the entire world - from past & future definitions

 

3: & CRIED WITH A LOUD VOICE, AS WHEN A LION ROARETH: & WHEN HE HAD CRIED, SEVEN THUNDERS UTTERED THEIR VOICES        

from other chapters, the seven thunders are the voice of God

 

4: & WHEN THE SEVEN THUNDERS HAD UTTERED THEIR VOICES, I WAS ABOUT TO WRITE: & I HEARD A VOICE FROM HEAVEN SAYING UNTO ME, SEAL UP THOSE THINGS WHICH THE SEVEN THUNDERS UTTERED, & WRITE THEM NOT   

Again, from 17:15 & 19:6, many waters & thunders go together & are the Almighty voice from heaven

[much similar to the Book of Daniel, whereas the book remains closed]

- the fact that this book remains open suggests that John is to indirectly write about the events - the cryptic Revelations,

- this emissary speaks to John of secrecy & tell him not to write about such;

- why would John write, or even mention, such was uttered in the first place 

 

5: THE ANGEL WHICH I SAW STAND UPON THE SEA & UPON THE EARTH LIFTED UP HIS HAND TO HEAVEN, 6: & SWARE BY HIM THAT LIVETH FOR EVER & EVER, WHO CREATED HEAVEN, & THE THINGS THAT THEREIN ARE, & THE EARTH, & THE THINGS THAT THEREIN ARE, & THE SEA, & THE THINGS WHICH ARE THEREIN, THAT THERE SHOULD BE TIME NO LONGER

When this theme is fully understood, there shall be no more time [fact is, there is no such thing as time in heaven - no sun to rule the days, rather, time is like its existence in a dream - long periods are but a flash of a second]        

Knowledge has increased & is steadily increasing; knowledge is gained in a year seems to surpass all that has been collect in all the years before

This angel is a messenger coming from Heaven to all of the Earth [upon the sea & upon the earth].

 

7: BUT IN THE DAYS OF THE VOICE OF THE SEVENTH ANGEL, WHEN HE SHALL BEGIN TO SOUND, THE MYSTERY OF GOD SHOULD BE FINISHED, AS HE HATH DECLARED TO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS        

obviously the secret revealed to John is the MYSTERY OF GOD [CHAPTER 20] which will be revealed by the voice of the seventh angel, which could be John reborn - for as will be said, he must prophesy again

John's divination will be the first plague of chapter 16 - the beginning of absolute destruction

 

8: & THE VOICE WHICH I HEARD FROM HEAVEN SPAKE UNTO ME AGAIN, & SAID, GO & TAKE THE LITTLE BOOK WHICH IS OPEN IN THE HAND OF THE ANGEL WHICH STANDETH UPON THE SEA & UPON THE EARTH. 9: & I WENT UNTO THE ANGEL, & SAID UNTO HIM, GIVE ME THE LITTLE BOOK. & HE SAID UNTO ME, TAKE IT, & EAT IT UP; & IT  SHALL MAKE THY BELLY BITTER, BUT IT SHALL BE IN THY MOUTH SWEET AS HONEY

10: & I TOOK THE LITTLE BOOK OUT OF THE ANGEL'S HAND, & ATE IT UP; &

 IT WAS IN MY MOUTH SWEET AS HONEY

& AS SOON AS I HAD EATEN IT,

MY BELLY WAS BITTER        

as said before, this little Book shows up in Daniel; when Daniel ate it, the book is closed - Daniel 12:4 SHUT UP THE WORDS, & SEAL THE BOOK, EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END; MANY SHALL RUN TO & FRO, & KNOWLEDGE SHALL INCREASE -

When John ate it, the book is opened - thus it is time to divulge what the secret is

- verse 11 to prophesy - John's soul has consumed the knowledge to be released when he is born again       

what was withheld & will one day be exposed will be Truth, as sweet as it is, but will be bitter, not the fairy tale so many have been led to believe by their religious institutions - not be the place of leisure

- one should consider - what if, in chapters to come, one finds that their future is mainly to populate the universe - that there is no end to life [soul] - continuous heavens & earths until the universe is complete;

- for most, the  mystery is far from our imaginations, out of range from our thinking, but obviously in the trillions of eons to come, there will be a finale.

 

11: HE SAID UNTO ME, THOU MUST PROPHESY AGAIN BEFORE MANY PEOPLES, & NATIONS, & TONGUES, & KINGS        

Another mention of rebirth - John will have to prophesy again        

How will we identify John; how will his prophesying be different from others

He will be a far cry from characters such as TV gods, the ministers & priests of today        

His message will obviously be from a place of many languages, nationalities, & religions
