Revelation 5

A simple introduction to the seven seals       

• The 7 seals [the 7th containing the future 7 trumpets]

• which lead to the 7th trumpet which comes with the future 7 plagues

• -  & the transfer from the Father to the Son.

• 3 sets of 7's - the mystic # 3 & God's world #7

1: & I SAW IN THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM THAT SAT ON THE THRONE A BOOK WRITTEN WITHIN & ON THE BACKSIDE, SEALED WITH SEVEN SEALS. 2: & I SAW A STRONG ANGEL PROCLAIMING WITH A LOUD VOICE, WHO IS WORTHY TO OPEN THE BOOK, & TO LOOSE THE SEALS THEREOF? 3: AND

NO MAN IN HEAVEN, NOR IN EARTH, NEITHER UNDER THE EARTH,

WAS ABLE TO OPEN THE BOOK, NEITHER TO LOOK THEREON       

Individuals are in Heaven & on Earth at the same time       

4: & I WEPT MUCH, BECAUSE NO MAN WAS FOUND WORTHY TO OPEN & TO READ THE BOOK, NEITHER TO LOOK THEREON. 5: & ONE OF THE ELDERS SAITH UNTO ME, WEEP NOT: BEHOLD, THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDA, THE ROOT OF DAVID, HATH PREVAILED TO OPEN THE BOOK, & TO LOOSE THE SEVEN SEALS THEREOF. 6: & I BEHELD, &, LO, IN THE MIDST OF THE THRONE & OF THE FOUR BEASTS, & IN THE MIDST OF THE ELDERS, STOOD A LAMB AS IT HAD BEEN SLAIN, HAVING SEVEN HORNS & SEVEN EYES, WHICH ARE THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD SENT FORTH INTO ALL THE EARTH      

• the seven's show Christ has complete all that was demanded by God

• Horns signify strength - & from Rev.17:12 are kings

• the eyes are obviously wisdom

• Christ is now known to have the seven spirits of God by these knowledgeable individuals in Heaven & is highly respected for His accomplishments

• the 4 beasts are obvious beings close to Christ in status & the 24 elders [2X12, Christ's #] play a big part in time to come

Christ was sent to all the Earth, not just to the Jews & His eventual Jewish movement they would create [Christianity].

The lion of Judah indicates He either gave birth or great knowledge to King David.

Jesse easily indicates the teacher, as well as the parent, of David.

Now Christ can give us the 7 spirits/gifts:

1. - Ephesus came the gift of the fruit of the Tree of Life (to understand the cycle of life & death);    

2. - Smyrna not to be hurt of the 2nd death, not to be part of the renewed earth after the next cataclysm, Rev 20:2;      

3. - PERGAMOS, knowledge of His new name & raiment;      

4. - Thyatira He will give powers over nations & to each of these eras, the right to a star, as the sun is His;      

5. - Sardis, Christ's promise of confession to His Father;     

6. - Philadelphia the honor of never having to leave Heaven again;      

7. - LAODICEAN being able to sit with Christ upon His throne, as do the 24 elders & four beasts.

7: & HE CAME & TOOK THE BOOK OUT OF THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE. ⁸& WHEN HE HAD TAKEN THE BOOK, THE FOUR BEASTS & FOUR & TWENTY ELDERS FELL DOWN BEFORE THE LAMB, HAVING EVERY ONE OF THEM HARPS, & GOLDEN VIALS FULL OF ODOURS, WHICH ARE THE PRAYERS OF SAINTS.

• ^{Christ is about to deliver the seals from the Book of God}

⁹& THEY SUNG A NEW SONG, SAYING, THOU ART WORTHY TO TAKE THE BOOK, & TO OPEN THE SEALS THEREOF: FOR THOU WAST SLAIN,

& HAST REDEEMED US TO GOD BY THY BLOOD

OUT OF EVERY KINDRED,

& TONGUE,

& PEOPLE,

& NATION;

• CHRIST HAS BEEN A PART, AT SOME TIME OR THE OTHER, OF EVERY NATION & RACE UPON THE EARTH

• "REDEEMED US", not mankind, rather 24 elders & 4 beasts

10: & HAST MADE US UNTO OUR GOD KINGS & PRIESTS: & WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH

• IF NOT THE FOUR BEASTS, THE 24 ELDERS SHALL PLAY A BIG ROLE IN THE FUTURE OF THE EARTH, OR PERHAPS THE FUTURE EARTH, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF CHRIST

• Our God, not Christ's God as will be seen

11: & I BEHELD, AND I HEARD THE VOICE OF MANY ANGELS ROUND ABOUT THE THRONE & THE BEASTS AND THE ELDERS: & THE NUMBER OF THEM WAS TEN THOUSAND TIMES TEN THOUSAND, & THOUSANDS OF THOUSANDS; 

• The angels are numbered a hundred million plus

• not the men in Heaven, or are mankind now angels when they enter heaven

12: SAYING WITH A LOUD VOICE, WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN TO RECEIVE POWER, & RICHES, & WISDOM, & STRENGTH, & HONOUR, & GLORY, & BLESSING.

13:& EVERY CREATURE WHICH IS IN HEAVEN, & ON THE EARTH, & UNDER THE EARTH, & SUCH AS ARE IN THE SEA, & ALL THAT ARE IN THEM, HEARD I SAYING, BLESSING, & HONOUR, & GLORY, & POWER, BE UNTO HIM THAT SITTETH UPON THE THRONE, & UNTO THE LAMB FOR EVER & EVER. ¹⁴& THE FOUR BEASTS SAID, AMEN. & THE FOUR & TWENTY ELDERS FELL DOWN & WORSHIPPED HIM THAT LIVETH FOR EVER & EVER
